Do you have specific requirements for using your industrial robots?

Often, custom retrofitting and modifications of standard robots from Omron Adept, Bosch and Stäubli allow for individualised configurations you can’t find “off the shelf”.

Often companies use robots of different series but want to equip them consistently with the same controller – a project we are happy to handle for you.

Retrofitting in the robotif workshop

Retrofits at our workshop always begin with a thorough inspection of your robot, followed by measurement of your robot.

For six-axis robots, we complete measurements with our position-independent UltraCal measurement system. You will be impressed by the significantly improved linearity and absolute precision of this manufacturer-independent measurement system.

Adept-T2-handheld operating device

Adept-T2 handheld operating device for Stäubli CS7 (M) (B) Controller
 

We can replace the outdated design and handling of the MCP handheld operating device for your Stäubli CS7 and Stäubli CS7B Controller with a state-of-the-art T2 handheld operating device with colour touch screen.

The extremely lightweight and robust T2 handheld operating device is designed for right and left-hand users, and can withstand falls from up to 1.5 m. The conversion is facilitated by a specialised circuit board. If you do prefer to use your original Adept MCP, we can offer you a housing made of lightweight, resistant aircraft aluminium. The added weight over the original plastic shell is just 700 grams.

Retrofitting the standard heat exchanger for an air-air climate control unit

The climate control unit for your Stäubli controller: we offer retrofits of the standard heat exchanger for an air-air climate control unit, to help your robotic system keep a cool head even on hot summer days or in high ambient temperatures.

This protects your valuable controller electronics from an early death due to heat – avoiding expensive downtimes.
